Terms of service.

1. The agreement

These terms apply when you book a session with Brooklyn Alpha Media or use this website. Booking confirms you've read and agree to them. A separate session-specific contract may be issued for weddings, commercial work, or larger productions and, where it conflicts with this page, the contract controls.

2. Booking & deposit

A session is reserved when (a) you've agreed to the quote, (b) the deposit is received, and (c) the date is confirmed in writing (email, text, or signed contract).

• Deposit. A non-refundable deposit holds your date. Standard portrait sessions: a flat retainer. Weddings and larger events: a percentage of the total fee, defined in your contract.
• Balance. The remaining balance is due on or before the session date unless otherwise agreed.
• Holds. Tentative dates without a deposit aren't held; another client can claim the slot.

3. Payment

Accepted payment methods are listed on your invoice. Late payments may delay delivery of final files. Returned payments or chargebacks may incur fees and pause work until resolved.

4. Cancellation & rescheduling

• Client cancellation. Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel at least 7 days before a portrait session, the deposit can be applied toward a rescheduled date within 90 days, subject to availability. Wedding and event cancellations follow the terms in your contract.
• If we cancel. If I have to cancel for any reason, you'll receive a full refund of all amounts paid, or — if you prefer — we'll reschedule.
• No-show. If you don't show up to a confirmed session without notice, the deposit is forfeited and any balance owed remains due.

5. Weather

Texas weather isn't predictable. If conditions threaten the shoot — rain, dangerous heat, lightning — we'll reschedule at no additional fee. The call is made by mutual agreement, with safety and image quality as the deciding factors.

6. Delivery

• Sneak peek. 1–5 edited preview images within 48 hours of most sessions.
• Full gallery. Standard turnaround is 1–2 weeks, depending on session type and season. Weddings and large events may take 4–6 weeks.
• Rush delivery. Available for an add-on fee, agreed in advance.
• Format. Galleries are delivered as high-resolution digital files via an online gallery link. Prints and albums are available separately.
• Selection. Image selection and editing style are at the photographer's professional discretion. Unedited RAW files are not delivered.

7. Image rights

• Your rights. You receive a personal print release: you may print, share, and use your delivered images for personal, non-commercial use without watermarks.
• Copyright. Brooklyn Sanchez retains the copyright in all images. Re-selling images, licensing them to third parties, or using them for commercial promotion requires written permission and may require an additional licensing fee.
• Edits. Please don't apply heavy filters or crop out the subject before posting. Credit is appreciated when sharing on social media (@brooklynalphamediagroup).

8. Model release & portfolio use

By booking, you grant Brooklyn Alpha Media the non-exclusive right to use images from your session in our portfolio, website, social media, marketing materials, blog posts, and submissions to publications. If you'd prefer your images stay private, let me know in writing before the session and I'll honor that.

For sessions involving minors, the booking parent or legal guardian provides this permission.

9. Travel

Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, and Copperas Cove are included with no travel fee. Locations beyond 25 miles from Killeen include a travel add-on quoted up front. For destinations requiring overnight stays or air travel, additional costs (lodging, transportation) are billed at cost.

10. Conduct on set

I reserve the right to end a session early, without refund, if anyone on set is intoxicated, abusive, threatening, or behaving in a way that compromises safety or the work. This is rare, but it's important to be clear about it.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a session or website use is limited to the amount you actually paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits — in that case, this section applies to the maximum extent permitted.

In the rare event of equipment failure, file corruption, or other circumstances beyond our control that prevent delivery of usable images, our remedy is limited to a refund of fees paid for the affected session.

12. Website use

• All photographs, copy, and design on this website are protected by copyright and may not be reproduced without written permission.
• We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate, but make no warranty of error-free operation.
• Don't attempt to scrape, hack, or interfere with the site or its underlying systems.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Bell County, Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
