Privacy policy.

1. Who we are

Brooklyn Alpha Media ("we," "I," "us") is a photography studio operated by Brooklyn Sanchez, based in Killeen, Texas. This privacy policy explains what information we collect when you visit brooklynalphamedia.com or work with us as a client, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

2. What we collect

Information you give us

• Booking inquiries. When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, preferred date or date range, session type, group size, and anything you write in the "vision" field.
• Direct messages. If you reach out via email, Instagram, or Facebook, we receive whatever you send.
• Client details. If you book a session, we may collect billing information, signed agreements, model releases, and shipping or session-location addresses.

Information collected automatically

• Server logs. Our host (Netlify) records standard request data: IP address, user-agent, referring page, timestamps. This is used for security and basic operations.
• Analytics. If we have analytics installed (such as Google Analytics 4 or Microsoft Clarity), those tools place cookies and collect usage data: pages viewed, session duration, scroll depth, clicks, device type, approximate location.
• Advertising pixels. If we run paid campaigns we may use the Meta Pixel or similar to measure ad performance and build retargeting audiences.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry and quote a session.
• To deliver photography or videography services you book.
• To send transactional emails (confirmations, galleries, invoices, sneak peeks).
• To improve the website and understand which content is useful.
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
• With your permission, to feature your session in our portfolio or social media.

4. Who we share it with

I don't sell your information. I share it only with the providers I need to run the business:

• Netlify — website hosting and form submissions.
• Google — Gmail for email correspondence; Google Analytics if installed.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session-replay analytics, if installed.
• Meta (Facebook/Instagram) — for direct messages and advertising pixels, if installed.
• Payment processors — for invoicing and deposit payments.
• Gallery delivery platforms — to host your final images for download.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy and data handling practices. We may also disclose information when required by law.

5. Cookies & analytics

This site may set cookies for basic functionality and, if installed, for analytics and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so won't break the site, but it may limit some features.

If you're in a region with cookie-consent requirements (such as the EU/UK or California) and don't see a consent banner, please email us — we want to comply.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Opt out of analytics or marketing.
• Withdraw permission to use your photos in our portfolio.

7. How long we keep it

Inquiry messages: up to 2 years. Client contracts and invoices: as long as required for tax and legal purposes (typically 7 years). Final image galleries: archived indefinitely so you can request reprints. Analytics data: per the provider's default retention.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions, email, and stored files are protected by reasonable industry safeguards. No system is perfectly secure — if a breach affects your data, we'll notify you as required by law.

9. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Family sessions involving minors are booked by a parent or legal guardian who provides consent.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the business or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage or via email if we have your address.
