Copperas Cove, TX · Photographer

Copperas Cove photographer.

Family portraits, events, couples, and automotive features in Copperas Cove, shot by someone based a few minutes east in Killeen. Real moments, clean edits, and a private gallery soon after the day.

The Cove has its own character.

Copperas Cove sits on the west side of Fort Hood with more elbow room than the towns to the east, and that's a gift for photos. I'm based in Killeen, just a short drive away, so there's no travel fee to come out to you. Most of what I shoot here is families who want photos that feel like their real life, couples and engagements, and the milestone events that the Cove turns out for, from quinceañeras to backyard weddings.

For locations, City Park and the Ogletree Gap area are easy and familiar, and the open country out toward the Five Hills and the west edge of town gives you the kind of big, uncluttered backdrop that makes a portrait breathe. If there's a spot with history for your family, a house, a field, a church, that almost always beats anything generic.

Military families welcome

The Cove is a Fort Hood town through and through, so a big part of the work here is military: homecomings, reenlistments, promotions, and PCS family sessions before a move. Those days move on the Army's schedule, not mine, so I keep the calendar flexible and just ask that you reach out as early as you can.

Cars and the rest

Automotive work is a real specialty of mine, not an afterthought, and the open land around the Cove makes for backdrops you can't get in a parking lot. Beyond that I shoot commercial and real estate for local businesses. You can see the full list of sessions and what's included, or just tell me what you're picturing on the inquiry form and I'll reply within a day.

Good to know

Copperas Cove questions I get most.

No. Copperas Cove is inside my no-travel-fee area along with Killeen and Fort Hood. Lampasas and a little further west are easy too; if a shoot runs past 25 miles out I'll mention the small add-on up front.
City Park and the Ogletree Gap area are solid for families and couples, and the open country on the Five Hills and west side of town gives great room for both portraits and automotive shoots. If your own place or a spot with history for you works better, we'll use that.
All the time. The Cove sits right on the west side of Fort Hood, so homecomings, reenlistments, promotions, and PCS family sessions before a move are a regular part of the work. Give me your window as early as you can and I'll stay flexible around the Army calendar.
Yes, and it's one of my favorite things to do out here. The open land on the edges of the Cove makes for backdrops you can't get downtown. Daily drivers, trucks, and full builds all welcome, and I'll scout a location that fits the vehicle.
